Job Description: We are seeking a Foundry professional for the role of Technical Sales Engineer.

Responsible for providing a comprehensive technical and sales service to new and existing customer base, this is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with excellent technical and communication skills.

You will be a competent IT user, particularly conversant with MS Office programmes. Previous sales experience is desirable, but not essential as a full training package will be provided.

Qualifications required: Ideally from an Iron and /or Steel background we would like to hear from someone, who has a competent understanding of all aspects of Foundry Technology and the casting process, together with strong desire to succeed in a sales environment for a market leading, global organisation.

The job:

To ensure design tooling suits our various moulding lines, which involves creating new tooling and modifying existing tooling. You will be required to use SolidWorks.

Previous foundry/ engineering experience

  • Experience of using SolidWorks


Melting Team Leader

The job:

To ensure all metal available meets current customer and international specifications at all times.

To ensure cost of melts produced are at best cost/mix possible with no detrimental impact on quality of material produced.

Your bit:

  • Previous foundry experience
  • Experienced with all metals
  • Have led a small team


Group Technical Manager

The job:

To ensure robust process controls are in place for all aspects of manufacturing, minimising foundry scrap and waste efforts in all departments.

To reduce the cost of manufacture.

Your bit:

  • Significant experience within foundry Metallurgy
  • Ability to lead key projects
  • Work cross functionally
