Commercial success leads to a new role

Castings Technology International (Cti) has appointed a new commercial manager during a time of “significant growth” for the organisation.

Claire Rowley has been appointed to further strengthen Cti as it expands its activities into new markets. Rowley brings experience in a broad range of international market sectors, including aerospace, oil and gas, defence and nuclear industries and she has worked closely with blue-chip companies. MD Richard Cook said: “I am delighted that Claire has joined the company at a time where significant growth in the business is envisaged. “She has joined at a very exciting time following the MBO earlier this year and will contribute to the growth of Cti as it continues to extend its business activities through its manufacturing and sub-contract services.”

Rowley joins Cti following a successful career at Ancon and Abbey Forged Products, where she was instrumental in driving change to support business growth. Her career began in 2003 with Firth Rixon and she has spent the past 18 years working within the forging and metals industry in a commercially focussed role. Rowley attributes her commercial success to the effective and on-going partnerships she has developed with customers, colleagues and suppliers.

On joining Cti, she said: “I am delighted to be joining a forward-thinking company at such a formative time in its history.”

Cti is a world-leading provider of technology, expertise and services to the cast metals sector and global supply chains.
