The Diecasting Society in the UK has been granted access to The Brunel Centre for Advanced Solidification Technology (BCAST), with a visit organised for Tuesday 9th June 2026.
Based at Brunel University of London, BCAST has a unique range of facilities to carry out metallurgical research. Casting and processing is fully supported by a comprehensive array of materials characterisation techniques.
The tour of the facilities will enable attendees to see the equipment available, including advanced diecasting technology, and consider the work of BCAST and its industrial application projects.
This is an ideal opportunity to get involved and contribute towards future project proposals. Non Diecasting Society members are welcome to attend.
