New Americas headquarters to highlight group strength

Norican Group, parent company to industry leading brands DISA, Wheelabrator, StrikoWestofen and Italpresse Gauss, has announced plans to build and move to new facilities for its Americas headquarters in 2022.

The move follows the consolidation in 2020 of all manufacturing and operations for the four brands into the LaGrange Technology hub, to fully leverage the strengths of the group, standardise business processes and optimise service levels to all customers. The existing LaGrange facility has been home to Norican brands for 33 years and the group remains committed to the local area, choosing a local greenfield site for its new state-of-the-art operations and assembly facility, to be built and completed in 2022. The new development will give the group a platform for accelerated growth and enable it to further ramp up technology development, assembly and testing.

Kim Tjerrild, general manager at Norican Group Americas, explained the move: “We’ve worked hard over the last two years on transforming our group infrastructure in a way that best serves our customers and ensures each brand benefits from the shared capabilities and resources of a larger group. The move to the new facility allows us to supercharge that process and truly transform the way we deliver equipment, parts and services for our customers. We will develop new technology faster, get it to our customers more quickly and better respond to their fast-evolving needs.

“Speed is also the driver behind our new partnership with a national logistics provider to improve customer response times. So, while it is ‘business as usual’ for our customers, as we plan our expansion, they will start to see an acceleration in our business processes as a taste of things to come in 2022!” www.noricangroup.com
