The Cast Metals Federation is now seeking entries for the UK’s 2022 Casting Industry Achievement Awards.
Each year, the Casting Industry Achievement Awards are held in the UK to identify the ‘Best of British Casting’. The awards give recognition for companies at the very pinnacle of the metal casting industry in terms of the way they run their companies, the castings they produce and the contribution they make to the industry.
The Innovation award is aimed at suppliers, foundries or the two working together on projects, alongside the Component of the Year and Company Achievement awards.
The entry criteria is as follows:
Company of the Year – open to any company for a major achievement in productivity, process or profit, or in the area of exports or people development during the period 2020 to 2022.
Innovation Award – this is open to any company (foundry or supplier) or university department which has contributed a significant innovation in product or process to the industry or its supply chain.
Component of the Year – for a significant achievement with a cast component through design, innovation, performance, or benefit to the customer.
The winners of the awards will be announced and presented at the Cast Metals Industry Awards Dinner on 17th November 2022, which is being held at Drayton Manor Resort, Tamworth, Staffordshire (UK).
